Choose between two ways to sauna:
Bird Dog Social — a shared session with eight seats, booked individually.
The Whole Box — a private session for your group of up to eight people.
Each session lasts 45 minutes.
Please arrive on time and come sauna ready so you can make the most of your booking.
Yes — all sessions must be booked online in advance.

Bird Dog is for guests aged 18 and over.
No — come as you are — we’ll explain how it all works, then you can find your own pace.
There’s no competition and no pressure to stay in the heat — take breaks whenever you need them.
No — the cold plunge is completely optional.
You’re welcome to cool off in the outdoor shower or simply relax in the fresh air between sauna rounds instead.
If you’d like to plunge, we’ll explain how it works when you arrive.

Please wear swimwear in the sauna and cold plunge.
Come wearing it under your clothes if you can, so you’re ready to settle in when your session starts.
Yes — there’s space to change and a chill-out area where you can take a breather between sauna rounds.

06 / WHAT IF I'M SENSITIVE TO ESSENTIAL OILS?
Yes — there’s an outdoor shower for rinsing off.
A simple rinse is enough for your visit.
To help keep the land happy, please leave conventional soaps and shower gels at home — we provide a natural (vegan + allergy friendly) shower gel if you’d like to use one.
Yes — tea + orange slices are included, a little something to enjoy while you unwind.
Please tell us about any food allergies or intolerances before your visit, including allergies to oranges or cinnamon, so we can discuss what we can safely offer.
Please contact us before booking if you have an allergy or sensitivity to essential oils.
We’ll discuss what’s used during your chosen session and make adjustments where possible.
Please leave personal oils and scented products at home.

Bird Dog is based in Dorking, Surrey — please check the location listed on your chosen session when booking.
You’ll receive the exact location, directions and parking details in your confirmation email.
Please drive slowly in rural locations and be mindful of wildlife, walkers and other road users.
Parking arrangements vary by location, with spaces reserved for booked guests — please share lifts where you can, or team your sauna with a walk, run or cycle.

Vehicles and belongings are left at your own risk.
Please arrive on time and come ready for your session.
If you’re driving, please arrive no more than five minutes before your booking — parking can be limited, so this gives guests from the previous session time to leave before you arrive.
04 / WHAT IF I'M RUNNING LATE?
You’re welcome to join for the rest of your booked session — we’ll still finish at the scheduled time.
05 / IS BIRD DOG ACCESSIBLE?
Access varies by location — our wild outdoor settings may include uneven ground, bark paths and areas that can be challenging to navigate.
If you require wheelchair access or have other access needs, please get in touch before booking so we can discuss your chosen location and any possible adjustments.
06 / IS THERE A TOILET?
We’re keeping it wild + simple — the sauna doesn’t travel with a toilet, and facilities vary by location.
Please use the loo before you come — any available facilities will be noted in your confirmation email.
LOOKING AFTER YOURSELF + THE SPACE

We’ve got the essentials covered — risk assessments, safety procedures, public liability insurance + first-aid and fire marshal training.
We’ll explain how everything works when you arrive — just follow your host’s guidance and stick to the guest areas.
Please read the health and safety information provided when booking and contact us in advance with any questions about the session.
Let your host know straight away if you feel unwell during your visit.
Please leave children and pets at home — they can’t accompany you to your session.
If you use an assistance dog, please contact us before booking to discuss access arrangements.
04 / can i bring alcohol?
Bird Dog is a sober space — no alcohol or recreational drugs.
Please don’t attend under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
05 /can i smoke or vape?
Bird Dog is a smoke, vape-free space — no smoking or vaping.
06 / can i take photos?
You’re welcome to capture your visit, but please ask before photographing or filming anyone else and respect their answer.

Yes — Bird Dog is a wild sauna, so the weather is part of the experience.
If conditions are unsafe and we need to cancel your session, we’ll offer you a new date or a full refund.
To move your booking or cancel for a full refund, follow the link in your booking confirmation email at least 48 hours before your session — we’re unable to offer refunds or changes after that.
If we need to cancel your session, you can choose a new date or a full refund.
